Purposes and legal basis

The purpose of the data processing is to suggest suitable jobs/vacancies to you based on your CV with the help of the "CV Matching Tool". If you wish, you can have the results of the CV matching sent (once) to your e-mail address without it being stored.

The legal basis for the data processing is your consent given by you in accordance with Article 6 (1) letter a GDPR.

In addition, when visiting the website and using the "CV Matching Tool", log data (i. a. IP address) is generated, the purpose of which is the secure operation of the website and the "CV Matching Tool".

The legal basis for the processing of this log data is Article 6 (1) letter f GDPR (legitimate interest). Rheinmetall is also obliged to operate this IT application securely in accordance with Articles 24 and 32 GDPR. Categories of personal data

In connection with the use of the CV Matching Tool, Rheinmetall processes the data you provide in your uploaded CV (or other uploaded documents).

Your CV and IP address (from log data) will not be merged. This is neither intended nor technically implemented.

When using the "CV Matching Tool", necessary cookies are used, i.e. cookies that are in fact necessary for the use and functioning of the service. This includes a session cookie (JSESSIONID). The session cookie contains a so-called session ID (session identifier), which is used to assign several requests of a visitor on a website to a uniform session.

The use of these necessary function cookies is based on our legitimate interest (ensuring the functionality of our website and the CV Matching Tool) in accordance with Art. 6 (1) letter f GDPR. These cookies are automatically deleted after you close your browser.
