The weapon mounts are highly versatile and can be installed on vehicles, boats, or tripods. By reducing recoil forces, they improve grouping and increase first‑hit probability. The first recoil‑damping weapon mount was delivered to the Norwegian Army in 1985, and this proven solution remains in service today, forming the foundation of the current Softmount technology. By reducing stress on both weapon and platform, the advanced Softmount systems enhance accuracy, extend system lifetime, and support integration with a wide range of weapons, with continuous development to meet evolving operational requirements.

RN600 – Softmount

The RN600 is a combined weapon mount designed for both 12.7 mm (.50 cal) heavy machine guns and 40 mm automatic grenade launchers. It is suitable for integration on vehicles, pedestals, and naval platforms, and supports both single and dual-weapon configurations.

The RN500 is a weapon mount designed for 12.7 mm (.50 cal) heavy machine guns. It is suitable for integration on vehicles, pedestals, and naval platforms, and is built for both land and maritime operations.

RN300 – Softmount

The RN-300 is a lightweight weapon mount designed for MG4 and MG5 machine guns. It features a recoil damping system and includes elevation and transport locks for improved handling and stability. It is suitable for integration on tripods, vehicles, and pedestal mounts.

RN200 – SOFTMOUNT
