Purposes and legal basis
The purpose of the data processing is to suggest suitable jobs/vacancies to you based on your CV with the help of the "CV Matching Tool". If you wish, you can have the results of the CV matching sent (once) to your e-mail address without it being stored.
The legal basis for the data processing is your consent given by you in accordance with Article 6 (1) letter a GDPR.
In addition, when visiting the website and using the "CV Matching Tool", log data (i. a. IP address) is generated, the purpose of which is the secure operation of the website and the "CV Matching Tool".
Categories of personal data
In connection with the use of the CV Matching Tool, Rheinmetall processes the data you provide in your uploaded CV (or other uploaded documents).
Your CV and IP address (from log data) will not be merged. This is neither intended nor technically implemented.
In order to prevent unauthorized third parties from accessing computer systems and information (including personal data) and to maintain data security, Rheinmetall has a legitimate interest in processing log data.
Recipients or categories of recipients
Rheinmetall uses various IT service providers to operate its websites and the associated services.
Data transfer outside EU
Processing takes place exclusively in the EU/EEA. No transfer of personal data to third countries is intended in the future.
Your data will be deleted immediately after your CV has been processed and suitable jobs/vacancies have been presented to you. A permanent storage does not take place.
Cookies are placed when using the "CV Matching Tool". Cookies are text files that are stored on your computer and enable, for example, individualization/adaptation of the website to your preferences, automatic recognition on your next visit and proper functioning of the website.
When using the "CV Matching Tool", necessary cookies are used, i.e. cookies that are in fact necessary for the use and functioning of the service. This includes a session cookie (JSESSIONID). The session cookie contains a so-called session ID (session identifier), which is used to assign several requests of a visitor on a website to a uniform session.
The use of these necessary function cookies is based on our legitimate interest (ensuring the functionality of our website and the CV Matching Tool) in accordance with Art. 6 (1) letter f GDPR. These cookies are automatically deleted after you close your browser.
Rights of data subjects
You have the following rights regarding the processing of your personal by us:
Right of access (Article 15 GDPR), Right of rectification (Article 16 GDPR), Right of erasure (Article 17 GDPR), Right of restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR), Right of data portability (Article 20 GDPR). You also have the right to object in accordance with Article 21 GDPR.

Withdrawal of consent
Since the data processing for the use of the "CV Matching Tool" is based on your consent, you also have the right to withdraw your consent pursuant to Article 7 (3) sentence 1 GDPR.
However, because your data is not stored permanently and is deleted immediately after matching jobs/vacancies have been identified and presented to you, such a withdrawal is unnecessary and has no further effect.

Obligation to provide personal data
Without the provision and processing of your personal data (uploading your CV) it is not possible to use the "CV Matching Tool".
We collect your personal data directly from you.
No automated decision-making takes place in the context of this data processing.
