About the Role
The MASS Technical Service Representative (TSR) is responsible for Assembly, Commission and Operator/Maintainer Training of the Multi Ammunition Soft Kill System (MASS). The TSR will complete Assembly, Commissioning, and Integration tasks in accordance with RDA manufacturing instructions, quality standards, and WH&S requirements. In supporting training and Live Fire activities, the TSR is also responsible for capturing the Australian NAVY User Evaluation feedback. The TSR will be responsible for delivery and support of the Operator/Maintainer Course to the CoA and for supporting any trials. The position requires a TSR with extensive experience in one or more disciplines of Armament, Avionics, Electronics and Mechanical. A Comprehensive technical understanding is requires and ability to learn of the Rheinmetall MASS System quickly is vital. The TSR reports to the Production Manager - MASS.
The general and generic duties of the MASS – Technical Service Representative include, but are not limited to:
- Completing the Inspection and pre-assembly checks of MASS and associated components prior to production and Integration;
- Complete Pre and Post shipment technical inspections of MASS and associated components; assist with generating warranty reports for European stakeholders;
- Completing production documentation and test protocols related to the MASS, start-up and commissioning process;
- Investigating and resolving any start-up issues that may occur during final Integration, Test, Commissioning, and FAT processes;
- Complete MASS technical reports and assist Quality department investigations and reporting as required;
- Maintain safe and efficient storage of required parts, tools and equipment in the workshop areas. Support the materials team to complete the movement, delivery, and inspection of parts and consumables;
- Complete work as required from time to time at other facilities including at the sites of RDA customers and suppliers;
- Deliver and/or support comprehensive training plans and supporting artefacts / documents to ensure program success for all participants;
- Deliver end user / operator training for RDA and CoA employees / stakeholders;
- Subject Matter Expert for all technical training related to the Multi Ammunition Soft kill System (MASS);
- Lead and manage the training of the Multi Ammunition Soft kill System (MASS) internal training to peers;
- Engage in MASS program meetings and report on operational actuals; and
- Other duties and responsibilities that may be required as determined with your manager from time to time.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:
- Minimum Certificate 4 in Armament, Avionics or Electronics, Mechanical;
- Extensive training and assessment experience in a technical field, and or ability obtain;
- Proven experience in Technical Training.;

- Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance NV1 (Australian Citizenship required).
