About the Role

The Configuration Manager helps to establish and maintain a consistency of the product’s performance, function and physical attributes. As a branch of engineering, the Configuration Management is here to support the engineering function.

You would be responsible for establishing and maintaining the following:

• Configuration Management Environment
• Policy and Procedure guidelines
• Configuration Management Planning
• Reports and audits

This role is able to offer an Individualised Flexible Working Arrangement if required. We encourage you to ask what this looks like for you at interview stage.

This role has the ability to help in different programs, helping you become a well-rounded Configuration Manager. With more projects come more opportunities to develop a progress within Rheinmetall.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes: 

• Experience in Configuration management and Change management;
• Sound background understanding of Project Configuration Management;
• Skill in dealing with parts lists and drawings;
