WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Planning, coordinating and managing procurement projects throughout the entire project lifecycle
- Coordinating sourcing activities to ensure timely availability of materials and services for projects and production
- Managing project-related procurement activities in close cooperation with Engineering, Operations, Logistics and Quality departments
- Monitoring project schedules, procurement milestones, budgets and supplier performance
- Supporting supplier selection, evaluation and contract implementation in accordance with company requirements
- Identifying procurement risks and implementing appropriate mitigation measures
- Monitoring delivery schedules and ensuring timely escalation of supply chain issues
- Preparing project status reports, procurement analyses and proposals for corrective actions
- Coordinating project meetings with internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Ensuring compliance with company procurement procedures, contractual requirements and applicable regulations
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
- Successfully completed degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a comparable field of study
- Several years (4-6 years) of professional experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing or Project Procurement, preferably in manufacturing, automotive or defense industry
- Good understanding of procurement processes, supplier management and contract administration
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP experience is considered an advantage)
- Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent organizational and project coordination abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Independent and self-reliant way of working
- Willingness to business travel
- Very good knowledge of written and spoken English and Romanian; German language skills are considered an advantage
