Technical Trainer - Mechanical

About the Team

We are seeking an experienced Technical Trainer – Mechanical to support capability development within our manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for a mechanically qualified professional who enjoys sharing knowledge, developing people and improving technical and safety standards on the shop floor.

About the Role

Reporting to the Training Manager, you will deliver practical and theoretical mechanical training to tradespeople, apprentices and production staff. You will support the organisation’s training and competency framework, ensuring skills development aligns with manufacturing, quality and safety requirements.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes: 

• Trade qualified mechanical fitter or similar;
• Manufacturing experience essential;
• Experience training, mentoring, or coaching trades or operators;
• TAE40122 (Cert IV TAE) or willingness to obtain;
• Strong communication skills and safety-first mindset; and
• Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
