Contract / Commercial Manager (m/f/d)

The BOXER 8x8 is an international military vehicle programme between DE, NL, LT and UK via the consortium ARTEC GmbH in Munich. ARTEC is a joint venture between KNDS Deutschland GmbH & Co KG, Rheinmetall Landsysteme GmbH and Rheinmetall Defence Nederland B.V. ARTEC is the main contractor for the BOXER programme, responsible for coordinating series production and exporting the BOXER. By December 2025, more than 2,000 BOXER vehicles had been contracted. Further major projects are in the pipeline.

• Coordinating and preparing offers for official institutions (e.g. OCCAR, NSPA and BAAINBw) representing our public clients (Germany, the Netherlands, Lithuania and the UK)
• Preparing and supporting the negotiation team during negotiations
• Contract management; this includes, amongst other things, negotiating new contracts and amending existing contracts
• Coordinating terms and conditions within the joint venture and negotiating these terms with the public contracting authorities
• Providing data and information for BOXER Programme reports, as well as monitoring and updating status reports
• Point of contact for commercial/legal matters at ARTEC GmbH
• Supporting the Commercial Manager and Programme Managers in preparing proposals for new business opportunities (export)

• A degree in Business Administration, Economics or a comparable qualification
• Experience in preparing quotations and negotiating contracts
• Industry knowledge is an advantage; experience in project-based business is helpful
• Ability to work in a team and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. German is not required
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• A structured and independent approach to work
• Analytical thinking and a proactive approach
• Willingness to undertake occasional business travel and to work in a multinational team
