WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Draft and design layout of equipment, materials and workspace to illustrate maximum efficiency.
- Developing and updating of process documentation prior to production start date.
- Develop, update and validation of product Manufacturing bills of materials.
- Work closely with the Process Engineering/Design team to define and ensure Industrialization activates are achieved.
- Conduct Process Safety audits and implement actions to improve on safety.
- Evaluate current production activities and make recommendations through continuous improvement and lean manufacturing.
- Evaluate manufacturing process based on quality criteria such as efficiency and speed.
- Offer product and process support within the designated area.
- Work with cross functional teams to increase productivity, reduce costs and maximise efficiency.
- Ensure that the manufacturing documentation aligns with process design intent at all times
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
- National Diploma: Industrial Engineering
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering will be an advantage
- Minimum 2-4 years’ experience within Process engineering, manufacturing or similar role.
- Experience working within an MRP/ERP environment
- Proven success with process improvement.
- Pro-active mind set.
- Ability to work independently.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent in task management
