About the Role
The Configuration Controller (CC) is responsible to develop, implement and manage plans, processes and procedures to ensure that configuration baselines, and technical artefacts and datasets, are suitably maintained to meet Rheinmetall Defence Australia projects availability, safety, quality, cost, schedule and contract requirements.
The Configuration Controller performs day-to-day CM tasks, including managing data, parts, software and documents in soft and hardcopy using Company systems and processes. The Configuration Controller also ensures project related data is created and maintained within a strong governance and consistent process across the Company.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:
- Experience managing complex BoMs, parts list, drawings and documenting build state configuration;
- Experience in Siemens Team Centre, SAP PP, MM, QM, PM;
- Expertise and firm understanding of material parts list structures and management; and
- Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
