As our Operations Expert (Defence) (m/f/d), you will serve as the central coordinator for our cross-functional workflows, covering Export Control, Project Management, Quality, Office Management, and Health & Safety. This is a highly hands-on, administrative specialist role focused on executing daily operations, drafting critical documentation, and managing official audits. Proven operational experience in defence licensing and export-control regulations is essential to successfully fulfil this position.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordination, hands-on implementation, and administration of specific regular/recurring activities in the fields of Export Control, Project Management, Office Management, Health & Safety, and Quality
  • Handling defence licensing procedures, scheduling relevant regulatory obligations, as well as planning steps, measures, resources, and deadlines
  • Introduction and continuous optimisation of processes to support the daily operations of the company
  • Development of the necessary operational environment, including drafting and establishing related contracts and meeting requirements regarding regulatory, technical, and financial terms
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legal regulations and taking direct responsibility for related audits by authorities
  • Integrated task management, progress measurement, and reporting
  • Risk and claim management
  • Conducting negotiations as a POC with relevant authorities, partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Complete the job-related administration
  • Completed bachelor's or master's degree or a comparable qualification
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven work experience in a Specialist/Expert/Coordinator/Manager position, dealing with complex processes or projects, preferably in the defence sector
  • Proven experience in the application of export-control regulations and defence licensing is mandatory
  • Experience in quality management, office management, project management, or health & safety is highly welcome
  • Strong organising, structuring, administrative and document-drafting skills
  • Affinity to cope with regulatory and process-based environments
  • Multi-tasking, good communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously, demonstrate a good level of self-initiative, independent and self-reliant action
  • Strong hands-on mentality and the ability to work under pressure
  • Very good English and Hungarian language skills, written and spoken
