Rheinmetall Electronics UK Ltd. in Warminster

Ref.-Nr.:  UK00908

Schedule type:  Full Time

Contract Type:  Permanent Full-Time

At OMNIA Training, we’ve brought together some of the UK’s most innovative defence training organisations into a single consortium to delivery one powerful mission: to transform the British Army’s training system and create the best-trained Army in the world.

OMNIA Training will redefine the British Army’s collective training, standing up as the Army’s Strategic Training Partner. To do that, we are looking for the best and brightest minds from across the UK. We are backed by British innovation and powered by world-class experts, like you.

OMNIA Training is primed by Raytheon UK, but all five partners (Raytheon, Rheinmetall, Capita, Skyral and Cervus) are key to delivering the scope of the contract.

Supporting innovation, Rheinmetall Electronics UK (REUK) is entrusted with the trialling and acceptance of new products into the Army training system.

This is more than a job — it’s a mission. You will be part of a high-impact, collaborative environment, where we expect everyone to live the values and standards of the British Army. Every person in our team plays a critical role in delivering OMNIA Training’s vision; designing, delivering, and transforming collective training so the British Army is ready to fight and win.

As Senior Facility & Estates Engineer, you will support the Facilities Lead in managing and improving the use of Defence Training Estates to enable effective military training.

Your role will involve assisting with the planning, coordination, and day-to-day delivery of infrastructure-related tasks, ensuring training environments are safe, accessible, and fit for purpose. Working closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders, you will help maintain a catalogue of training sites and their capabilities, to expedite exercise planning.

You will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to arrange access to training sites, facilitating the setup, execution, and teardown of exercises and activities. In addition, you will monitor and review how training estates are being used, analysing utilisation data to inform recommendations for improved efficiency, better resource allocation, and future expansion.

This role requires strong organisational and communication skills, as well as the ability to balance operational needs with long-term strategic planning.

Your contributions will be critical in ensuring operational readiness, enabling data-driven decision-making, and delivering secure, scalable, and integrated simulation training systems.

  • Support the collection of information related to infrastructure capability gaps.
  • Assist the Facilities Lead in preparing business cases or proposals.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities to optimise the delivery of the service.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Competent in analysing data and generating clear, concise reports to inform decision-making.
  • Solid understanding of facility and infrastructure management principles, including health and safety and compliance standards.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite and comfortable using databases or asset management tools.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks effectively, demonstrate initiative, and work independently with minimal supervision.

Desirable Skills:
