About the Team

Our small and impactful Digital Systems team develop, build and maintain electronics systems across multiple programs. This team also delivers the Simulation and Training equipment to ensure a fast integration of knowledge of products to the end customer. 

About the Role

Reporting into our Director ES Programs, join Rheinmetall in a key Program Management role supporting the LAND 400 Phase 2 and Heavy Weapons Carrier (HWC) programs. You’ll lead the delivery of Training and Mission Equipment (Electronic & Optics), coordination, developing, production, and other support activities to ensure successful program outcomes and meet contractual commitments.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes: 

• Tertiary qualifications (Bachelor Degree) in a relevant Engineering or Business field or related discipline;
• Experience in Program and Project Management of complex technical programs;
• Clear understanding of the Defence Acquisition Project lifecycle and the associated management of these activities;
• Experience in leading a multi-disciplined team of engineering and technical staff;
• Ability to travel interstate and internationally when required; and
• Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
