(Senior) Business Application Manager (f/m/d)

• Comprehensive consulting for the departments using business applications regardless of hosting model, technology or a Make or Buy decision
• Responsibility as IT Applications Owner for the complete lifecycle: planning, selection, introduction, operation & further development of business applications
• Ensuring the ongoing operation of business applications. Planning and execution of maintenance work, releases and tests in compliance with the defined ITSM processes, SLAs and standards.
• Contributing to service design and management
• Contributing to the development of the application strategy and further development of the existing application portfolio, in particular harmonization of the existing application landscape and standardization of application scenarios
• Participation in and execution of implementation and rollout projects (agile and classic, make or buy)
• Coordination of external service providers
• Creation and regular updating of operational documentation

The position can be filled remote in Germany.

• Successfully completed studies in (business) computer science or a similar sutdies with an IT focus
• Professional experience in the selection, introduction, customizing, operation and management of business applications
• Experience in the rollout and operation of cloud, hybrid and on-premise applications
• Good knowledge of currently used technologies and standards
• Methodical knowledge and ideally certification in project management and ITIL
• Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills in German and English
• Industry experience in the defense and/or automotive sectors is an advantage
• Independent and solution-oriented way of working, as well as a high willingness to perform and learn
• Willingness to learn and openness to new technologies
