WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Support with conducting routine and non-routine analysis to support continuous production.
- Assist with basic laboratory administration and interaction with plant personnel.
- Adhere to quality and safety requirements.
- Good housekeeping and responsible waste management.
- Support with the Calibration and Verification of laboratory equipment.
- Capable of interpretation of data and sentencing.
- Able to engage and liaise with suppliers in any event.
- Assist in interpretation of results and writing of reports.
- Ensure all laboratories comply with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 ISO 50001 and ISO 17025.
- Adhere to all applicable legislation within RDM.
- Adheres and implements Rheinmetall Denel Munitions Policies and Procedures and ensures compliance to ISO Standards with respect to SHE/Quality/Environmental/Energy.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
- B Tech/BSc in Analytical Chemistry or NQF 7 equivalent qualification.
- Must be deadline orientated and be able to multi – task.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills .
- Self-motivated and independen.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Must be able to work in a team and independently.
- Good planning and attention to detail.
- Must be computer Literate.
- Excellent communication and organizing skills.
