Development engineer for system simulation (m/f/d)

Your tasks include in particular:

• Developing system solutions and carrying out comprehensive system simulations
• Realisation of fire control systems and intelligent sequence controls in air defence
• Using familiar tools and languages from the fields of data science, signalling technology and machine/deep learning (Matlab, C++, Python)
• Designing software modules with a model-based design approach
• Technical management of complex development tasks in a team environment
• Creating system and interface specifications
• Independent development and implementation of software solutions
• Assisting with trials, field tests and customer acceptance tests at home and abroad
• Analysing test results and writing studies and reports

• University degree in engineering in one of the following fields: Computer Science, Robotics, System and Control; Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Data Science, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• In-depth knowledge of machine/deep learning, signal technology, optimisation, data fusion
• Knowledge of at least one of these areas: Radar technology, laser technology, electric motors, image processing, infrared technology, real-time systems, measurement technology
• Very good user knowledge of Matlab, ideally also C/C++, and typical SW development tools (Git)
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
• Flexibility for short stays in the customer country (a few days to a few weeks)
• High degree of independence and at the same time ability to work in interdisciplinary and intercultural teams
