Ground Crew Instructor (MTO) (m/w/d)

As part of our international project team, you will ensure the highest standards in aviation maintenance training. You will be responsible for qualifying the next generation of maintenance technician personnel for the C130J, bridging the gap between regulatory requirements and hands-on operational excellence.

Your tasks:

• Prepare, conduct and evaluate maintenance type rating training and examinations for functional and test personnel according to aviation and customer regulations
• Identify and assess future maintenance training needs for C130J maintenance staff in alignment with regulatory requirements
• Develop individualized training and development plans in coordination with the Head of Training and international partners
• Apply and evolve a diverse range of modern instructional methods to ensure sustainable learning success
• Monitor global training trends and best practices to continuously improve internal programs
• Report progress and specific issues to the Head of Training to ensure contractual compliance

• Completed B2 type training course for the type C-130
• 5 years maintenance experience of which at least 2 years experience on aircraft type C130
• Professional experience, preferably in a technical/teaching assignment would be beneficial.
• Experience in an international working environment.
• Part-66 license with the relevant type rating for C130 (at least 2 years experience)
• Understanding of the relevant procedures and regulatory requirements of civil and military aviation training requirements.
• Strong writing and documentation skills in relation to reports and training manuals
• Excellent command, written and spoken, of the English language. German and/or French knowledge
• High intercultural competence and willingness to work in an international environment
• Very good organizational, team leadership and communication skills
• High level of initiative, proactivity, flexibility and resilience
