ILS Manager (m/f/d)

The BOXER 8x8 vehicle armoured vehicle has been developed in a joint co-operation programme between Germany and the Netherlands by the international consortium ARTEC GmbH in Munich, Germany. ARTEC is a joint-venture of Krauss-Maffei Wegmann GmbH & Co. KG, Rheinmetall Landsysteme GmbH and Rheinmetall Defence Nederland B.V. It is the prime contractor responsible for the BOXER Programme, the co-ordination of series production and the focal point for export opportunities. Annual sales are normally between 300 and 400 million EUR and as of June 2021 more than 1,500 BOXER vehicles have been contracted.

• Execution of ILS Management policy within the BOXER programme in accordance with the applicable standards, mainly
• Assigning ILS tasks to member of the ARTEC ILS team and ILS managers within the consortium
• To act as the focal point for all ILS matters between Industry and official services
• To chair the quarterly ILS review meetings between industry partners and the customer
• Review and endorsement of official reports prior to delivery to the official services
• Management of the ARTEC ILS team (currently 6 staff members)

• Management skills including strong communication capability and a high level of resilience
• A working knowledge of Technical Documentation process in accordance with the ASD S1000D standards and associated software
• A working knowledge of material management process in accordance with the ASD S2000M standards and associated software
• A working knowledge of Logistics Support Analysis process in accordance with the Mil-Std. 1388 standards and associated software
• Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, certified Engineer or equivalent
• Experience in design and development of armoured vehicles or defence related products on system / sub-system level
• Structured and analytical way of working
• Pro-active and empowering way of working
• Frequent travel activities both within Germany and abroad
• A German speaker with a very good knowledge of the English language
