About the Team
In this role you will be reporting directly to one of the Procurement Managers. Each category has a mix of coordinators, specialists and project specialists; who provide support at all levels within our organisation. This role will be based at our Military Vehicle Excellence in Redbank.
About the Role
The Procurement Administrator will be tasked with facilitation of the supply of critical goods and services. This will be in accordance with corporate processes and the objectives of current projects within Australia and New Zealand.
As the Procurement Administrator, you can anticipate some of your day-to-day tasks to include:
- Monitor the procurement functional mailbox and contact key stakeholders to action or support;
- Coordinate the vendor onboarding and maintain up to date supplier information;
- Maintain accurate records of suppliers, master data (lead times);
- Prepare purchase orders and send copies to suppliers and to departments originating requests;
- Support members of the team with analysis and other relevant support for major tendering activities;
- To review requisition orders on a daily basis to verify accuracy, terminology and specifications;
- Convert Purchase Requisition to Purchase Orders in S4, in Concur and SAP;
- Maintain procurement documentation and filing systems for audit readiness;
- Run reports on Purchase Requisition and Purchase Orders status in all systems; and
- Manage the Purchase Requisition Folder in SharePoint to ensure approvals are progressing and expedite requisitions when required.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:
- A ground level knowledge of purchasing / procurement practices and procedures;
- Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint;
- Proficient in general administration and data entry;
- High level organisational and prioritising skills;
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy;
- Ability to travel internationally and interstate, when required; andEligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
