SAP Master Data Officer - Quality

About the Team

The SAP Master Data Officer will report to the Incoming Quality Inspection Manager, joining our established Incoming Quality team of twelve inspectors and one SAP Master Data Officer, who are all based at our Redbank facility. The Incoming Quality team forms part of the greater Quality team which encompasses Supplier Quality, Operations Quality, and Project Quality

About the Role

The SAP Master Data Officer is responsible for updating and maintaining all quality data in the SAP QM module, and for developing and maintaining inspection plans within SAP.

As SAP Master Data Officer, you can anticipate some of your day-to-day tasks to include:

• Identify and manage inspection codes (QSB) and quality certification requirements;
• Develop, verify and update incoming inspections plans;
• Maintain and update master data in SAP;
• Raise and resolve SAP-related quality concerns;
• Generate reports on defects, complaints and nonconformance issues;
• Provide technical support on product quality issues; and
• Collaborate with Engineering and promote workplace safety.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes: 

• 3+ years of SAP Experience;
• Experience in a Quality Control/Quality Assurance role delivering complex platforms/systems in an ISO9001 or AS9100 environment;
• Ability to read and interpret standards, engineering drawings and customer specifications;
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint);
• Ability to travel internationally and interstate, when required; and
• Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
