WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Assistant Magazine Master is responsible for assisting the magazine master in the day-to-day running of the magazines and the general administration duties
KEY PERFOMANCE AREAS:
- Control of magazine licenses as per the Explosives Act
- Control stock receipts and issue
- Update of records in the ERP system (SAP)
- Control and dispatch of explosives and ammunition as per order to satisfy business plan and in accordance with the OHSACT
- Safe handling and stacking of all explosives, Ammunition as per OHSACT and SHE policy ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
- Control all motorised and other equipment as per SHE standards
- Adheres to and implements Rheinmetall Denel Munitions Policies and Procedures and ensures compliance with ISO Standards with respect to SHE/Quality/Environmental/Energy.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
- National Senior Certificate OR Any NQF 4 relevant qualification.
- Experience in ERP/ MRP/MPS within a manufacturing/ production environment for at least 5 years.
- Knowledge of an explosive storage facility management.
- Proven numerical, time management and problem-solving abilities.
- Conflict management skills with sound persuasive and client relationship skills.
- Strong communication (i.e. both verbal and written) skills.
- Advanced computer literacy (particularly in SAP and Excel) will be an advantage.
- Must have a valid Code 8 and PDP driver’s license, Forklift license.
