Rheinmetall Nordic is a subsidiary within the Business Unit Global Business and part of the division digital systems of Rheinmetall AG, the German‑headquartered international technology group.
With its main office located at Duken near Tønsberg, and additional offices in Oslo and Stockholm, Rheinmetall Nordic provides direct support to defence and security customers through a strong regional footprint and close collaboration across the Nordic region and beyond.
Rheinmetall Nordic acts as Rheinmetall’s Advanced Land Autonomy Center of Excellence, contributing to the development and delivery of next‑generation autonomous and digitally enabled capabilities. The company’s core product portfolio includes mortar weapon systems, observation and sensor systems, and weapon accessories, supporting a wide range of defence applications.
By combining deep regional expertise with Rheinmetall’s global technology base, Rheinmetall Nordic delivers reliable, precise, and mission‑critical solutions, while maintaining close cooperation with customers and partners to support long‑term capability development across defence and security domains.
Our Systems & Products
Rheinmetall Nordic delivers advanced solutions for dismounted soldiers, including sensor, observation, reconnaissance, and fire‑control systems. Our portfolio ranges from target acquisition and electro‑optical systems to 40 mm fire‑control technology, weapon upgrades, and high‑performance mounts. We also supply modern mortar
capabilities, with the 81 mm system in service with the Norwegian Armed Forces and a fully developed, tested 120 mm system.
